Quick Start

The goal of Quick Start is to translate your existing paper form into a mobile form with a pixel perfect version of your PDF, built simultaneously. You’ll be able to publish your form to your users in the field in minutes!

Quick Start is for everyone interested in mobile field data capture; however, it’s been specifically designed for busy workers with simple forms who do not want, or cannot, spend hours deploying forms to their field workers.

Quick Start may be a great fit for your needs if:

• You have an existing PDF report and you want to maintain its exact look and feel,
• Your form does not have complex data capture requirements or form logic,
• You are new to mobile field data capture tools.

How does Quick Start work?

As the name suggests, Quick Start was designed to make form building as easy as possible so that you are deploying forms to your field workers quickly and easily.

Quick Start works by first uploading a blank PDF copy of the form you use today.

You are able to easily drag and drop fields from our Field Library–such as drop downs, photo capture, and more–directly onto your PDF. You have full control over field placement, font styles, and Field Settings like making information required to be completed.

Our Test functionality lets you see how your form will work without having to exit the Basic Form Builder. Preview the experience on mobile, see what your PDF report looks like as the form is completed, and download a completed sample report to ensure you are getting exactly what you need end to end.
