The goal of the Basic Form Builder is to translate your existing paper form into a mobile form with a pixel perfect version of your PDF, built simultaneously. You’ll be able to publish your form to your users in the field in minutes!

This Builder is for everyone interested in mobile field data capture; however, it’s been specifically designed for busy workers with simple forms who do not want, or cannot, spend hours deploying forms to their field workers.

The Basic Form Builder may be a great fit for your needs if:

• You have an existing PDF report and you want to maintain its exact look and feel,
• Your form does not have complex data capture requirements or form logic,
• You are new to mobile field data capture tools.

Why should you use the Basic Form Builder?

The Basic Form Builder was designed to make form building as easy as possible so that you are deploying forms to your field workers quickly and easily.

The Basic Form Builder has two options for form building – Auto-Build or Build from Scratch.

Sometimes the hardest part of building a form is just getting started. Auto-Build will automatically build your form for you, getting you as close as 75% to a completed form, cutting time spent building a form drastically. Make simple adjustments and add finishing touches before deploying your form to users in less than half the time it takes to build an Advanced Form.

If you prefer more control, simply upload your PDF under the Build from Scratch option. You are able to easily drag and drop fields from our Field Library–such as drop downs, photo capture, and more–directly onto your PDF. You have full control over field placement, font styles, and Field Settings like making information required to be completed.

Our Test functionality lets you see how your form will work without having to exit the Basic Form Builder.
