Change your Account Email as a User

As a user, you are able to edit the email that is associated with your account that doubles as your Username.

Change your Account Email

Please keep in mind that in order to change the email associated with your account, it must be a real email that you have access to. Changing the email is only the first step; you must then open your email to validate you have received the confirmation email.

  1. Navigate to the Profile page, following the instructions based on your Account View.
    • Core View: Navigate to the Profile page in the left navigation.

    • Project View: Select your username in the lower left corner of the left navigation to expand the menu and select Profile.

  2. Near the top of the page, select Change Email.

  3. Type in the email in the New Email text field and select Change Email to send the confirmation email.

  4. Open your email client, in your browser or a mobile app, open the email from GoCanvas, and click the button to validate the new email.

Note

If you're an Admin, you have the ability to edit any user's email. Please visit the Help Center article, "Change a User's Account Email as an Admin."
