Change GoCanvas Notification Settings

This article provides steps for how to change your Notification settings for your Account, Apple iOS, and Android.

Admins and Designers can enable Account Notifications to keep work visible and reduce delays, and users can enable or disable Notifications on their own devices. 


Notification settings

By default, these Notifications are enabled at an Account level:

However, some Notifications can be selected on a case-by-case basis, granted the Account Settings allow Notifications:

Three of these Notification types can be disabled at an Account level.

Navigate to the Account Settings page following the instructions based on your Account View.

Core View
Without Departments With Departments

In the left navigation, expand the Account dropdown and select Account Settings.

Project View

At the bottom of the left navigation, click your username to expand the menu and select Account.

  1. Under General Settings, locate Notifications and click Settings.

  2. Deselect the checkboxes by the Notifications you wish to disable.
  3. Click Save.

Mobile Notifications

Android devices Apple iOS devices

Notifications can be enabled, disabled, or modified in the Settings app. Please note that Android instructions may differ slightly depending on the manufacturer of your device. These instructions follow the steps taken on a Google Pixel running Android 13.

  1. Open your Settings app.
  2. Enter "GoCanvas" in the search bar.
  3. Tap GoCanvas in the search results to open its specific settings.
  4. Tap Notifications.
  5. Notifications are on by default, so toggle All GoCanvas notifications off or toggle specific Notifications of.
