Change GoCanvas Notification Settings

You can decide how to send and receive GoCanvas notifications on both an individual device basis as well as on an account level. 

Default Notification Settings

By default, these Notifications are enabled at an Account level:

However, some notifications can be selected on a case-by-case basis, granted the Account Settings allow notifications:

Apple iOS Devices

Notifications can be enabled, disabled, or modified in the Settings app. Please note that although iOS devices are all manufactured by Apple, your device may be running an older version. These instructions follow the steps taken on a device running iOS 18.

  1. Navigate to your Settings app and search GoCanvas in the search bar.
  2. Tap to open GoCanvas specific settings and then tap Notifications.
  3. Adjust how you wish to receive notification alerts.

Android Devices

Notifications can be enabled, disabled, or modified in the Settings app. Please note that Android instructions may differ slightly depending on the manufacturer of your device. These instructions follow the steps taken on a Google Pixel running Android 13.

  1. Navigate to your Settings app and tap Apps.
  2. Expand the list of all apps on your device.
  3. Search for or select GoCanvas from the list and then tap Notifications.
  4. Notifications are ON by default so toggle all notifications OFF or only toggle specific notifications off.

Account Notification Settings

Three of these notification types can be disabled at an Account level:

  1. Navigate to Account Settings by expanding Account.
    • If you have Departments enabled, remember to switch your Department to All.
  2. Under General Settings locate Notifications and select the Settings button. Account_Settings_Notifications.png

  3. Uncheck the boxes by the Settings you wish to disable.
  4. Save.
