You can decide how to send and receive GoCanvas notifications on both an individual device basis as well as on an account level.
Default Notification Settings
By default, these Notifications are enabled at an Account level:
- Reference Data updates/changes,
- A form is assigned to a user,
- A Dispatch, Workflow, or Assignment is assigned to a user,
- A Dispatch, Workflow, or Assignment is unassigned from a user,
However, some notifications can be selected on a case-by-case basis, granted the Account Settings allow notifications:
- A new version of a form is published to a user,
- An Immediate Dispatch is assigned to a user,
- A form is assigned to a user.
Notifications can be enabled, disabled, or modified in the Settings app. Please note that although iOS devices are all manufactured by Apple, your device may be running an older version. These instructions follow the steps taken on a device running iOS 18.
- Navigate to your Settings app and search GoCanvas in the search bar.
- Tap to open GoCanvas specific settings and then tap Notifications.
- Adjust how you wish to receive notification alerts.
Notifications can be enabled, disabled, or modified in the Settings app. Please note that Android instructions may differ slightly depending on the manufacturer of your device. These instructions follow the steps taken on a Google Pixel running Android 13.
- Navigate to your Settings app and tap Apps.
- Expand the list of all apps on your device.
- Search for or select GoCanvas from the list and then tap Notifications.
- Notifications are ON by default so toggle all notifications OFF or only toggle specific notifications off.
