This article provides detailed information about how you can keep an eye on complete or pending Tasks, Workflows, Dispatches, and submissions from Work Hub.

Admins, Designers, and Dispatchers can manage day-to-day operations all in one place within the GoCanvas portal using Work Hub.

Work Hub

Accessible from the left navigation in the Core View of GoCanvas, Work Hub is broken up into four separate tabs, each with their own specific purpose, as well as Dispatch functionality.

In Progress

The In Progress tab enables you to manage all ongoing assigned field work (e.g. Assignments, Dispatches, Workflows) in a table view. This table includes the following information:

  • Form (i.e. form name)
  • Name (i.e. submission name)
  • ID (variable based on Task type)
  • Assignee
  • Created (i.e. created date)
  • Scheduled (only for scheduled Dispatches)
  • Status (e.g. “Assigned,” “Received,” “Unassigned,” "Overdue," or Workflow Handoff name.)

Upcoming

The Upcoming tab enables you to see, schedule, and adjust all future dispatches in a Calendar View or List View. The features on this tab are:

  • Toggle the calendar view to Day, Week, Month, or Team
  • Filter by Forms 
  • Filter by Dispatch Status
  • Filter by user assigned to the Dispatch

Submitted

The Submitted tab enables you to view, search, delete, download, email, and oversee all submissions in a table view. This table includes the following:

Unfinished

The Unfinished Tab is where it will be determined if the submission is complete enough to continue or if you want the user to re-sync when connected to the internet. This tab allows you to view:

  • Form (i.e. form name)
  • Submitter
  • Submission Name/ID
  • Submission Date
  • Status (i.e. “Partial Sync”)

Create Dispatch

The Create Dispatch dropdown is conveniently located on each page so you can quickly create dispatches from anywhere in Work Hub.

Create New

Opens the Create Dispatch page where you can create Immediate, Scheduled, and/or Repeat Dispatches.

Upload Dispatches

Opens the Import from spreadsheet page where you can download a sample .csv file and upload it to create Bulk Dispatches.

Export

On every tab of Work Hub, the Export button is located next to the Create Dispatch button. For either all forms or a specific form, export your Workflows and/or Dispatches during any date range. Completed submissions can also be included in the export by checking the box Include Submission Data. Complete the following fields to export data:

  • Type (i.e. choose Dispatches or Workflows)
  • Date Range
  • Form (i.e. form name)
  • Form Version

Filter & Search

Both the In Progress and the Submitted tabs have Filter and Search capabilities. Use the Filter for refining submissions by Date Range, Form Name, and Assignee or Submitter. Use the Search Bar for more narrow or specific queries.
