What is the Reference Data Report?

This article provides extra context for using the out-of-the-box Reference Data Report.

The Reference Data Report is an efficient way to determine which reference data files are in use and to which forms they are mapped.


Reference Data Report

Reference Data is must affective when used across more than one form. Run this quick and easy report to see which files are in use and where. This Report can only be run by admins.

Navigate to the Reports page, following the instructions based on your Account View.

Core View
Without Departments With Departments

Expand the Account drop down in the left navigation and select Reports.

Project View

Click your username at the bottom of the left navigation to expand the menu and select Reports.

This report can be run in two views: by Form or by Reference Data.

The report defaults to automatically run by Reference Data but there is a drop down menu by Run report by at the top of the screen to switch to run the report by Form. Click View to run the report again. Click Export to download the data in a CSV file.

Viewing by Reference Data

This view is most helpful when the goal is determining which files are in use.

  • Reference Data Name,
  • Date and time of the last Update,
  • Any Forms that use the Reference Data.

Viewing by Form

This view is most helpful when the goal is determining which forms have reference data and the file(s) attached.

  • Form Name,
  • Status,
  • Date and time of the last Update,
  • Reference Data used by the form.
