The Checkboxes style of the Multiple Choice field type displays all options available (up to 15 choices) and allows users to select multiple options.

Multiple Choice Buttons

A Multiple Choice field in the style of Checkboxes is an interactive field type from which a user could quickly select multiple items by tapping the related boxes. 

The checkbox values must be added to the Choices section of the Field Settings (up to 15 characters per choice), which appear as sequential buttons when completing submissions on mobile devices. Reference Data cannot be used with this field type.

Clear all listed choices using the Clear All option. 

On both the Standard and Designer PDFs, multiple choice buttons field values appear as a list of the choices that were chosen in the submission:

When editing submission data on the web portal for a multiple choice buttons, the data is text that can be manually input from the Submissions page or the Submitted tab in Work Hub. Keep in mind that the other possible choices will not be shown on the editing page.
