GoCanvas supports multi-photo capture on all compatible devices, including the Windows Desktop client.
Multiple Photo Field
You can add up to 10 photos to a multi-photo field. Any captured images can be viewed online from your portal and included in PDFs.
Add a Photo Field
- Find an existing Photo field or add one to the center workspace.
- Select the Photo field to open Field Settings in the left panel.
- Select the button for Multiple Photos.
- Optionally, toggle to the Advanced menu to change Image Source, Tile Photo, Photo Size, or turn on Unsecured Access.
- Photo Size
This Photo field setting determines the size of the image on the Standard PDF. The options are Smallest, Thumbnail, Small, Medium, and Largest.
- Tile Photo
This Photo field setting will tile your images on the Standard PDF with three thumbnail images across the page. This comes in handy when you have a screen with multiple images that you would like to show left to right. The tiled images will always show as the smallest size.
This Photo field setting specifies whether you want your submitter to upload an image from their Camera Only, from their Gallery Only, or from either. The default setting is Camera or Gallery.
- Unsecured Access
This Attachment, Photo, and Video field setting allows you to access an image by the image URL exported in the CSV or XML without being logged into GoCanvas.
Multi-photo fields are indistinguishable from single photo fields on mobile until the field is opened.
As photos are added, they will display in succession on the screen. The X in the upper right corner of each image can be tapped to delete the photo.
Downloading Multiple Photos
You can view and download multiple images from the Submissions page on the portal.
Once on the Submissions page, select the date of the submission you want to view, then scroll to the photo field that contains multiple images. There will be a link on the left indicating the number of photos.
Select this link to open a new window where all images can be viewed and downloaded as a ZIP file.
Please Note
Multi-photo fields in a loop screen are not supported by the PDF Designer.
