This article provides information about deleting a saved In Progress submission from the mobile application, device agnostic.
Users can keep their GoCanvas organized by removing outdated or extra submissions, ensuring a more efficient workflow and freeing up device storage.
Deleting a Saved Submission
Keep in mind that if you delete a saved submission, you will not be able to retrieve it after being deleted.
Navigate to the Forms tab.
Tap the form tile that has the saved submission, indicated by a number in the black circle.
Select the In Progress option to view the list of saved submissions.
Tap the saved submission you wish to delete.
Select Delete.
A pop-up will confirm that you wish to delete, select Yes.
Note
Submissions can also be deleted from the Tasks tab but they are mixed with active dispatches and handoffs, which cannot be deleted by the mobile user, making it more tedious to track down the saved submission from the Tasks tab.
How to tell if there are saved submission(s) on a device?
While you are on the login screen of the GoCanvas application, your username will be greyed out making it so you can't sign in as another user.
When signed in, the Forms tab will have numbers in blacks circles by the forms with active submissions. This number also represents dispatches and handoffs for workflow but navigating to the In Progress list will separate each type in the list.
