This article covers Rating fields, how they look on mobile, and how their values appear after a submission is completed.
Rating fields can be used to rank anything on a scale from 1 to 5 stars.
Rating fields
On mobile
The Rating field type is great for collecting feedback and reviews. Tap any star to capture the value. Each star to the left of the one selected will highlight automatically to visually represent the chosen star. Tap a different star to change the rating. Swipe the stars from right to left to clear the value.
In the Builder
Admins and Designers can change Field Settings, like Default Value, while building the form. Select the field in the center workspace to open the Field Settings in the left panel.
Editing submissions
On both the Standard and Designer PDFs, Rating field values appear as integers. When editing submission data for a Rating field, the data is a numerical value that can be manually input in the portal in several places, depending on your Account View.
