GoCanvas Mobile App: Dark Mode

Overview 

Dark Mode is available in the GoCanvas mobile app so you can reduce eye strain and better match your device’s display preferences. You can choose to follow your device’s system settings or manually set GoCanvas to Light or Dark. 

Requirements

• A supported version of the GoCanvas mobile app installed on your device.
• A device that supports Dark Mode
• An active GoCanvas user account.

Change display theme  Follow these steps to update the appearance of the GoCanvas mobile app: 

1. Open the GoCanvas app on your mobile device and sign in if prompted.
2. Tap the Settings menu in the app.
3. Select Appearance from the list of settings.
4. Choose one of the available options 
   • System settings: GoCanvas will match your device’s current theme. 
   • Light mode: GoCanvas will always display with a light theme. 
   • Dark mode: GoCanvas will always display with a dark theme.  

Your selection will apply immediately, and you can return to the Appearance settings at any time to change your preference.   

Tips and notes

• If you select System settings, changing your device’s theme in the device Settings will automatically update GoCanvas if GoCanvas is set to System Settings.
• If the Appearance option is not visible, confirm that your GoCanvas app is updated to the latest version available in your app store.
• Dark Mode affects the GoCanvas app interface; your form designs and PDFs will still display their configured colors and layouts.
