GoCanvas Project Management is an easy to use platform to help your business stay on time, on budget, and deliver your best quality work to your customers.
Benefits
Create and Track Project Work
Project managers, business owners, and operations managers have one place to access the most up-to-date happenings about their project work. This allows them to know in real time whether project work is being completed on time and at quality. They can use the information coming from the field to make schedule, labor, and material adjustments as needed. All of which helps maintain best-in-class service, keep costs low, and customers happy.
Create and Track Customer Work
Service-focused organizations have an easy way to view all historical work quoted and completed for a particular customer. This makes it easy to see what you've charged a customer in the past for service, what work was performed and by whom, and if they are a repeat customer. Having an easy view of historical work can help to increase customer satisfaction and service delivery for future jobs.
Weather Forecasting
Work is often delayed, accidents take place, and progress dampened when weather is not accounted for in your planning. By tracking the specific forecast for your projects and job sites, you know in advance whether or not tasks can be performed on a certain day and if schedule adjustments must be made. This keeps your quality on track, budget safe, and customers happy.
Surface Work that Needs Review and Follow Up
Hazards, mistakes, and changes happen. The longer they sit without action, the more impacted your budget, timeline, and quality become. By surfacing flagged submissions in a separate place, it's clear which reports require immediate review. Having the ability to quickly see what's happened in the field and to respond appropriately reduces any negative outcomes on the overall project and work.
Auto-fill your Project, Customer, and Jobsite Information in your Forms
Project, Customer, and Site information is filled out instantly and automatically for field users making it easier to see the correct information that they need to see. Reports returned from the field are filled out with less risk of error because the information doesn't need to be entered by the field user. This means you get higher quality, accurate reports faster so that you can more confidently track work status, submit payroll, and share information with your stakeholders.
Field Users can Organize their Tasks by Project
Field users shouldn't have to spend a lot of time thinking about the work that they have to do for the day. By having a way to clearly sort and organize their assigned tasks, they can confidently know what needs to be completed on a job. This means that they are less likely to miss required work, keeping your projects on time and customers happy.

GoCanvas Tip
We recommend adding your Customers and Sites first as it is more efficient than creating a Project, then a Customer, and finally going back to Projects to update the Project with an associated Customer.
