Admins and Designers can customize their Designer PDF with brand-specific colors, building brand recognition and awareness.

Hexadecimal codes

A hexadecimal code is a six digit code that represents a color. For example, white is represented by the hexadecimal code #ffffff or GoCanvas blue which is #039de7.

There are free Eye Dropper plugins for web browsers that will tell you the exact hexadecimal code of a color, like a color used in your company's logo. Eye Dropper is a simple but effective plugin for Chrome. 

Codes can be copied by selecting them on the modal and pasting them into Background Color or Text Color fields in the PDF Designer settings.

Use a hexadecimal code in the PDF Designer

To use the code captured by the eyedropper tool:

1. In the left navigation, click Forms.
2. On the right side of the screen, click Edit PDF in line with the form you wish to edit.
3. Select the location on your PDF where you would like to change the background or text color to open Column, Field, or Element Settings in the left panel.

4. Delete the default hexadecimal code from the Background Color or Text Color textbox and enter the hexadecimal code for your brand, including the # symbol.

   

5. In the upper-right corner of the Designer, click Save.
