This article provides instructions for using built-in softwares on either Mac or Windows to resize your logo to meet size limits.

Admins or Designers can upload a Custom Account Logo to their GoCanvas account and it will be included in the automatically generated Standard PDF.

Size requirements

The image used for the Custom Account Logo must meet certain criteria to be accepted by GoCanvas. One of the requirements for the logo is the size:

  • Image must be less than or equal to 60 pixels high.
  • Image must be less than or equal to 200 pixels wide.

Resizing the image

Regardless of the operating system you are using, follow these general steps to resize your image:

  1. Determine whether your image is taller than it is wide, or wider than it is tall.
    • If it is taller, then first scale it down to the height requirement.
    • If it is wider, then first scale it down to the width requirement.
  2. Now, check the other measurement, i.e. the one you did not scale in the previous step.
  3. If it is still larger than the requirement, scale that one to it's requirement as well.

Instructions for each operating system can be found below.
