GoCanvas recommends all accounts upgrade existing forms or build all new forms in the Advanced or Basic Form Builder. Please note, some features are not available in the Basic Form Builder.
Making a field Required means that the person filling out a submission won't be able to proceed to the next screen without providing the required field with an entry.

In the Builder, you will find this checkbox in the Field Settings panel, accessible by selecting any field.
Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*) so the user knows which fields are requisite to continue the submission.
When a user attempts to continue the submission without complete required fields, a message will pop up to indicate the fields that the user did not complete.
