The issue
If your PDF does not match your Form, it may be because the Designer and Custom PDFs need to be updated to reflect the changes. It may also be an issue that the values on the PDF were removed by accident. In either of these cases, the PDF will need to be updated.
The Resolution
Most PDF issues can be resolved by updating the PDF with the most recent fields. The best way to do this is to delete the problematic fields and add them from the builder's left panel.
Step by Step
- Locate the Problematic field and delete it.
- If the issue is that the field does not exist, you will want to make room for it.
- Locate the Screen where the field is on in the builder's left panel.
- Each screen is named and collapsed.
- Expand the Screen by clicking on the Screen's name.
- Locate the desired field
- Click and hold on the field; you can then drag it to the location you want it on the PDF.
- When dragging the field, you will notice sections highlighting blue, indicating where the field will be placed.
- Release your click; this will drop the field in the highlighted section.
Updating a Loop screen
- Locate the Loop Screen's table in the PDF.
- Hover your cursor over the Loop Screen Table.
- This will cause a small menu to appear to the right.
- In the menu that appears, select Add Section Above.
- Locate the Loop Screen in the builder's left panel.
- Drag the Loop Screen to the newly created Section.
- Hover over the old Loop Screen Table
- In the Menu that appears, select Delete Section.
