This article explains the difference between the Device Date/Time (UTC) and Response Date/Time (UTC).
When submissions are exported, you are given metadata about the submission, like the form name, the user who submitted it, the Submission ID, and the Device.
Device and Response Date/Time
- Device Date/Time
A submission is completed when you tap Done at the end of the form and is independent of when it is actually synced to our servers. The Device Date/Time is when a submission is completed in UTC.
- Response Date/Time
When a submission is completed and synced, it is sent to our servers. The Response Date/time is when a submission is received by our servers in UTC.
