The Legacy Builder is our oldest Builder
GoCanvas recommends all accounts upgrade existing forms or build all new forms in the Advanced or Basic Form Builder. Please note, some features are not available in the Basic Form Builder.
Field values, data collected in your submissions, can be included in the email subject and/or email body automatically generated after a submission is complete. This helps organizations to categorize and find emails in the future.
Place Value In
- Select the field that you wish to include in the email to open Field Settings in the left panel.

Expand the More menu, scroll to Place value in... and check Email Subject and/or Email Body.
- Save and Publish to device to see the new email subject and/or email body in action.
Note
If more than one field is marked with the above attributes, the data will be appended together up to a reasonable limit.
