Admins and Designers can test changes to existing forms before deploying to your users.

Testing Forms

Navigate to the Account Settings page following the instructions based on your account view.

Core View

Without Departments With Departments

1. In the left navigation, expand Account and select Account Settings.

1. At the top of the left navigation, expand the dropdown menu indicating the current Department and select All.
2. In the left navigation, expand Account and select Account Settings.

Project View

Without Departments With Departments

1. At the bottom of the left navigation, click your username to expand the menu and select Account.

1. At the top of the left navigation, expand the dropdown menu indicating the current Department and select All.
2. In the left navigation, expand Account and select Account Settings.

Under Form Settings, find Testing Forms and click to turn it ON.

Publish for Testing

Testing can only be enabled on forms that are currently in the Pending status. You can't test a form with the status New until it is Published at least once.

To Publish for Testing, follow these steps:

1. In the left navigation, click Forms.
2. On the right side of the Forms page, in line with the form you wish to edit, click Edit.
3. Make any change to the form.
4. Click Save but don't Publish.
5. Exit the Builder to return to the Forms page.
6. Click the hyperlinked name of a form to open its Form Settings.
7. Scroll to the Actions section and click Publish for Testing.

Once those steps are complete, you will notice that the status has changed from Pending to Testing. The word (Testing) will be added to the beginning of the form's name. 

This Testing version will be published to all Admins and Designers on your account. On the device they will see the testing version as well as the published version. Any submissions created from the Testing version will be marked as well.

To remove the Testing version, return to the Forms page. Then either Publish the form or select Revert to previous version from the ellipsis (…) menu.
