This article explains the Form Setting> Email Options and what each of the settings are.
Admins and Designers have a few customization options regarding the logistics of the email sent upon completing a submission.
Email Options
Email Options determine who always receives a copy of the submission PDF, which PDF they are sent, and the delivery method.
- In the left navigation, click Forms.
- Click the hyperlink of the form name or the gear
associated with the form to open Form Settings.
- Under Settings, locate Email Options and click Settings.
- Expand the Choose which PDF to email dropdown to change the selection. The options are:
- Standard: Available for all Form Builders.
- Designer: Available for Advanced Forms.
- Quick Start PDF: Available for Basic Forms.

Select a radio button under Choose an option for mobile users to determine user permissions. This setting also applies to Web Client and does not negate email fields in the form.
- Cannot email the PDF to anyone: Users cannot enter additional email addresses to receive the PDF.
- Can email the PDF to themselves only: Users will have the option to send the completed PDF to themselves but no one else.
- Can email the PDF to anyone: Users will have the option to enter any email address to receive the PDF. This is the default.
- Enter email addresses below (comma separated) that will ALWAYS receive a copy of the PDF in the textbox.
- For which address field will be used, select a radio button under Email recipients will be added to the:
- 'TO' field
- 'CC' field
- 'BCC' field (this is the default)

Select a radio button under PDF Deliver Options for the preferred delivery mode:
- Link (this is the default)
- Attachment
Note
If you have an email field in your form, the address entered in the field will automatically be added to the list to receive the PDF.

Click Choose file under Additional Email Attachment to select an attachment from your computer to send with every submission email for this form.
- Select the checkbox by Show the words 'Auto-Results' in subject line if you wish to do so.
- Click Save.
Please Note
The size limit for emailing a PDF submission is 25 MB.
