Is GoCanvas priced per user or per device?
Technically, GoCanvas is per user. Each individual that will be making submissions or using GoCanvas should be given their own user account. The benefits of each user having their own login include:
- Controlling which GoCanvas forms each user can access,
- Putting your users in groups to easily publish new forms for specific teams,
- Auto-populating fields based on the user logging in, saving them time,
- Tying each submission to the account that filled it out and sent it in.
However, as is answered below, you may also choose to treat a device as though it is a user. Keep in mind that a minimum of three users are required for every GoCanvas account, agnostic of plan.
Can I use GoCanvas on multiple devices?
Paid users can log onto GoCanvas on a limited number of devices. You might have an iPhone and an iPad and want to use your Windows laptop, too. Go right ahead! You can be logged into a single account on up to three (3) devices.
How many GoCanvas Forms can I create and use?
As many as you want. Pricing is not tied to the number of GoCanvas forms you create or download from our Form Template Library. Create as many as you want and edit them as often as you want. The more you use GoCanvas, the more savings you'll see.
I'm using GoCanvas in a retail environment where my customers are filling in GoCanvas forms. Do I need a user account for each customer?
No! Just license GoCanvas for the number of devices you have in your place of business. Lots of business use GoCanvas for signing waiver forms or sign-up forms where they just hand a tablet to their customer to use.
Do you charge my card each time someone submits data with GoCanvas?
No. GoCanvas is priced per user/per month but charged on an annual basis. You can view your statements online with GoCanvas on the Billing page, accessed by expanding the Account drop down in the left navigation.
