Hi!
If we could have the ability to duplicate partial data entered onto a previous field, that would be awesome.
For our organization, we use the Bar Code Scanner to capture VINs on customer vehicles. It would be nice if we could have a field that would take the last 8 of the VIN and mirror it onto a new field.
I would expect this to be helpful for other things also. Such as only showing the last 4 of an account number, or phone number for example.

Thank you for posting this idea to the community! My mind is spinning with how we may be able to accomplish that today but I honestly am having a hard time coming up with a solution other than reference data, which wouldn't help if the VIN is unique or new to the system. I think this could be a great addition to the platform and the use cases you mentioned in addition to the VIN example prove this could have many applications. I will definitely pass this along to our product team!
