For reference and reporting purposes, It would be great to have the ability to combine / concatenate 2 or more fields. Like in the below examples.
- Combine fields "Last Name" and "First Name" with combining text of ", " to become a combined field of "Last Name, First Name" - ("John" and "Smith" would become "Smith, John")
- Combine fields "City" and "State" with combining text of ", " and "Zip" with combining text of " " to become a combined field of "City, State Zip". - ("Atlanta" and "GA" and "30144" would become "Atlanta, GA 30144"
- Combine fields "ZIP" and the "+4" with combining text of "-" to become "ZIP-+4". ("30144" and "0044" would become "30144-0044")
- Combine field "Quantity" and "Product" with combining text of " cases of " and with additional text of " were shipped." would become "Quantity cases of Product were shipped." ("40" and "Apples" would become "40 cases of Apples were shipped")
This would allow for easier and nicer looking .pdf forms, and can be use to create nicely formatted sentences that incorporate multiple fields.
This feature should allow the developer to enter text both before and after the fields, and the text should be able to be of different lengths or nothing.
