More Control on Workflow

HI There,

It would greatly help if the workflow can be controlled in more detail.

1. Reject to any users within the workflow instead of just to the last submitter. - This will allow for a multi-level workflow platform that requires input from several management levels.

2.  Allow admin to "re-activate" submission after that they have been completed, by allowing them to be rejected or be activated in order to fall back into the workflow "legs".

  • Hi Leaghnard,

One of the things that is on our roadmap is to handoff to anyone in a workflow. While I don't know the full scope or plan for that feature, I think it would probably solve for your first request (big note: just because it's on the roadmap doesn't mean it's going to happen, but right now it is in our plans).

For the second one, one thing you could do is enable mobile editing and viewing for that form. That would then allow you to create a new submission with the data from the original, and put it through the workflow again. Not ideal, but a possible work-around. In that event you  might want to include a field to capture some information indicating that this version is a revision, and put that information into the submission name to differentiate the two versions.

    Thanks for your feedback!
