This article explains how to assign a form to Groups and/or users immediately before publishing a new version from the Basic Form Builder.
Before a user can complete submissions, an Admin or Designer needs to assign the form to them.

The Basic Form Builder is available in both Core View and Project Management View for all subscription tiers.
Assigning a form
You can assign users to a form when you’re in the Builder after updating or making changes to the form. Follow these steps, regardless of your Account View:
- In the left navigation, click Forms.
- On the left side of the page, in line with the form you wish to edit, click Edit to open the Basic Form Builder.
- In the upper right corner of the Builder, click Save and then Publish.
- Under Name, select the checkbox next to every user who needs the form. Or, at the top of the dialogue, click Groups to assign the form to pre-determined sets of users.
- In the lower left corner, click to turn off Send Notification if you do not wish to alert users that a new version is available
- In the lower right corner, click Publish to device.
