Task Link
If you are new to GoCanvas, the content in this article covers the steps, with supplemental articles, that will allow you to start creating GoCanvas Dispatches in Bluebeam Revu.
Please Note
This article focuses on features that are available for the GoCanvas Essentials subscription tier.
GoCanvas Account setup
To get up and running with GoCanvas, Admins will need to add all potential GoCanvas users to your Account.
Add users
The following personnel will require a GoCanvas login:
- Office user building forms in GoCanvas.
- Office user assigning Dispatches (i.e. Tasks) to workers in the field from within Revu.
- Workers completing Tasks in the field.
To learn more, see:
Build a form
Building the forms that Admins, Designers, or Dispatchers will Dispatch to users is the biggest setup step required in order to start using Task Link.
To learn more, see:

Publish a form
Once you have tested your form and it works as expected, in the upper right corner of the Builder, click Save, then Publish. Every time you edit and republish a form, the previous version will no longer be available to users (i.e. each subsequent republish will increase the Form Version).
Assign users to a form
After you publish your form, authorized User Roles can Assign it to all users who will receive Dispatches in the GoCanvas application. Users will not appear in the Assignment dropdown list when you select Create Dispatch in Revu if you have not assigned the form to those users.
To learn more, see, "Assign a form to your users from the Basic Form Builder."
Enable Dispatch for a form
The final step is for Admins or Designers to Enable Dispatch in the form's Form Settings so users can access it in Revu.
To learn more, see, "Enabling Dispatch."
Create a Dispatch in Bluebeam Revu
Use the Task Link Integration to create a Dispatch.
To learn more, see, "Use Task Link to assign work to field teams" on the Bluebeam Support site.
Complete the Dispatched Task
Users will need to download the GoCanvas mobile application to their device to complete the Dispatched Tasks.
To learn more, see:

Track Dispatches in Revu
Use the Task Link sidebar to track Dispatches.
To learn more, see, "Use Task Link to assign work to field teams" on the Bluebeam Support site.
Edit & View submissions in GoCanvas
After users complete a submission, authorized User Roles can Edit & View it from the GoCanvas web portal.
To learn more, see, "Editing a submission."
