What is Task Link?
Task Link is an integration between Bluebeam and GoCanvas that allows you to use GoCanvas forms to assign tasks to your field teams directly from Revu markups. With Task Link, you can centralize task management and manage field data in real time, all within Revu.
What can Task Link do?
- Assign tasks from Revu using pre-created GoCanvas forms,
- Link existing tasks to drawing markups for easy document organization,
- Export packages or collated PDFs containing drawings and tasks together,
- Track progress of tasks in the Task Link panel and markup list.
Do I need a GoCanvas Subscription?
Yes, the follow personnel will require a GoCanvas account:
- Office user building forms in GoCanvas,
- Office user assigning Dispatches (i.e. Tasks) to workers in the field from within Revu,
- Workers completing Tasks in the field.
Do I need a Bluebeam Subscription?
Yes, anyone scheduling and linking tasks from Revu will need a Bluebeam account. Task Link requires Revu 21.8. Earlier versions of Revu don't include this integration.
What is GoCanvas Lite for Task Link?
A GoCanvas subscription tier that is designed to include all you need to start using Task Link.
How do I get started in GoCanvas?

Why isn't my form available in Task Link?
Make sure that your form is Published and Assigned to the people who need to access it, including yourself.
Where are the forms saved?
Forms and submissions are stored on the GoCanvas servers. To learn more about where data is stored, visit the Security & Infrastructure Overview.
Who do I contact if I have issues with Task Link?
For questions about creating forms, configuring dispatches, managing GoCanvas users, or other GoCanvas-specific issues, contact GoCanvas support directly or consult the Help Center. Bluebeam support handles Task Link functionality within Revu itself.
