GoCanvas implemented our payment integration with Square in 2018 and feedback from our customers has been clear, “Capturing payments is not a core requirement for most of us using GoCanvas.”
After careful consideration, GoCanvas has decided to discontinue support for Square payments on the 1st of June 2025. Removing this integration will open up more opportunities to focus on additional innovations that we are so excited to share with our customers.
What does this mean? As we slowly wind down support for payments over the next few months, Square will be removed from our mobile applications and users will no longer be able to accept payments within GoCanvas. The Payment Field and Payment Integration page will be hidden in the coming days for forms that do not currently have a payment integration configured.
We would like to thank everyone who has provided feedback on this feature over the last seven years and look forward to sharing more exciting GoCanvas innovations with our users in 2025 and beyond.
