"Save Unsuccessful" Error

GoCanvas Tip

As a best practice, please save your work early and often while working in the Form Builder.

However, if you get this error, it is easy to re-establish that connection with one of the following methods.

Method 1

  1. DO NOT close or navigate away from the the Form Builder (or the window the Form Builder is open in).
  2. Open a new tab in the same browser and navigate to gocanvas.com.
  3. Log out of GoCanvas in that window.
  4. Log back into GoCanvas.
  5. Return to your original window and Save.

Method 2

If the above method did not work, there might be a pending publish on the form you are currently updating that needs to be published first.

  1. DO NOT close or navigate away from the the Form Builder (or the window the Form Builder is open in).
  2. Open a new tab in the same browser and navigate to gocanvas.com.
  3. Open the form and select Publish to device.
  4. Return to the original tab where edits were being made and Save.
