4 September '24 Platform Release Notes: GoCanvas 16.13

GoCanvas announces the release of Platform 16.13 on the 4th of September 2024.

Other items in this release:

1. Reference Image Report:
   
   • A column was added that lists the Department where the Reference Data Image is used.
2. Security Improvements:
   
   • Added additional security around email identity which now requires:
     • Confirming the email address when changing your email address on your profile,
     • A verified email address before using some GoCanvas functionality to make sure the user is not abusing our software or brand.
3. Rails 7 bug fixes:
   
   • Post-release cleanup following the update to our codebase to Rail 7.0 to help keep our site secure:
     • Fixed an issue preventing submissions from being copied into new accounts,
     • Fixed issue preventing Workato integrations from being automatically cleaned up when a Recipe was disabled,
     • Fixed 500 error issues,
     • Fixed retry error handling to ensure all submissions get re-indexed when bulk indexing.
4. Other:
   
   • Fix for Designer PDF Field "text size" that was breaking formatting,
   • Tech maintenance on various items (i.e. gems, sidekiq errors, and cleaning up logging noise).
5. Partnerships (Simpro):
   
   • Easily edit a company name after it's been created (for Partner child accounts),
   • Additional logging ot help triage Simpro refresh tokens,
   • Fix for Simpro clients with workflows having duplicate submissions.
