Including Field Values in Submission Emails from the Builder

Field values, data collected in your submissions, can be included in the email subject and/or email body automatically generated after a submission is complete.  

Place Value In

Including field values in the email subject or body helps organizations to categorize and find emails in the future.

  1. Select the field you wish to include in the email to open the Field Settings in the left panel.
  2. Expand the Advanced menu and locate the four Place value in toggles, underneath the Mobile Visible setting.
  3. Click the grey toggles next to Place Value in Email Subject and/or Place Value in Email Body to add the values captured in these fields to the email subject and/or email body.

  4. Save and Publish to see these changes in action.

Note

If more than one field is marked with the above attributes, the data will be appended together up to a reasonable limit.
