How to Make your GPS Field Hidden on Mobile in the Builder BETA

You may need to record location data on a mobile device without requiring your users to see the field. You can do this by making an adjustment to the field in the Builder BETA. 

Configuring Hidden GPS

1. Create a new form or edit an existing form. 

2. Add a GPS field or edit an existing GPS field. Select the gear icon to open the settings modal.

3. Under the General tab, the toggle for making the field Hidden is on the top right, next to the Required toggled.

4. Save and publish your form.

The hidden GPS field will respect any specifications set in the field settings, including accuracy and timeout. As soon as the Hidden setting is toggled on, the Required setting will toggle on and grey out.
