You may need to record location data on a mobile device without requiring your users to see the field. You can do this by making an adjustment to the GPS field in the Builder.

Configuring Hidden GPS

1. Add or find an existing GPS field and select the field in the center workspace to open the Field Settings in the left panel.

2. Under the Standard settings, locate the toggle for making the field Hidden.

   

3. Save and Publish to test the form on mobile.

The hidden GPS field will respect any specifications set in the field settings, including Accuracy and Timeout. As soon as the Hidden setting is toggled on, the Required setting will be toggled off and greyed out. In case of a timeout occurring, this field cannot be made Required so that it won't prevent the user from continuing their submission.
