Ability to duplicate multiple workflows

    Hi Danny,

    Thanks for posting to the community. I think I am a little confused on this request because it sounds like you are actually looking for dispatch and not workflow.

    Dispatch happens at the very beginning of the process. A form can be partially filled out and assigned to a single user on an individual basis using immediate dispatch or scheduled dispatch. We also have the ability to upload a .csv file that can automatically generate multiple dispatches which is called Bulk Dispatch. 

    Workflow happens within a submission and always happens at the same point. You can have a workflow between every screen in a form if necessary but they will always happen between the same screens every time. Admins can reassign a workflow from the Workflow & Dispatch tab if necessary.

    So based on what you described, it sounds like you need Bulk Dispatch, which you can read more about in this Help Center article.

    But please correct me if I'm wrong!

    We exclusively use the desktop app or mobile app to send our workflows. The bulk upload CSV would work for me BUT the issue I have is that I have a user authentication on the first page so that only certain people in my organization can create a workflow. The bulk CSV does not include these fields in the CSV columns. This is a required field that is locked in my apps. If it is not filled in prior to the workflow handoff, the user cannot proceed passed that page. This is to prevent the 40+ people using the app from either accidentally or intentionally creating a dispatch that is then handed off to a driver for completion. Additionally the apps use third party integration with QuickBooks to access database files with all of our customer data, whether the workflow will contain existing jobs or new jobs by existing contractors, or new jobs altogether. This info MUST be exact as the third party integration also grabs this data and imports the data and creates new jobs, and customers, invoices, and vendor bills all in this process. So, that being said, the desktop or mobile app workflow that we create and then “handoff” from would be incredible to have the ability to grab that handoff on the dispatch and workflow page once all of the critical data (user authentications and customer data among other also sensitive data that must be exact for the import like a material name that must match up to the QuickBooks list of materials or it will fail on import), once all of that is input, in theory I could log in to the "dispatch and workflow" on the website, perhaps unassign if needed that workflow, click a button asking me how many loads to duplicate (like 5 or 50 or 100) and then quickly reassign if needed to the different handoff users. Right now we send the same basic “workflow” over and over and over and over (insert "over and over" to the tune of hours and hours every day). Does that make sense?

    Hi Danny,

    Sorry it's taken me a few days to get back to you. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain this in more detail. I think I am still confused by the authentication field on the first page. It should still be visible in the bulk dispatch download but it doesn't have to be filled out before the file is uploaded to the website. When you download the bulk dispatch file, is there no column for that field in the file?
