Permanently deleted user
I started an assessment on my laptop to input information from a medical assessment organizer the night before and needed to be upstairs with my kids. I figured I would come down the next day to my desktop to finish the assessment when I had the virtual assessment with the insured but to my surprise, found it was not on my gocanvas app on my desktop!! Apparently if you start an assessment on gocanvas on any other CPU (laptop or desktop) it doesn't seamlessly stay in all of your gocanvas apps. In other words, it only saves to that CPU's gocanvas. Wouldn't it be nice to have the ability to start and finish gocanvas wherever you open the gocanvas app??

Hi Megan,
Thanks for posting to the community! I do have clarify that because our solution is offline by nature, starting a form in one device and then switching to filling it out on another device would take our solution in the direction of an online solution. Although this capability would make the platform more flexible and I can see how others may use this functionality. I will pass the idea along to product!

Can you provide literature that describes the benefits of offline vs online solutions? I imagine it increases security, which would appeal to my executive team.

Although security is incredibly important to GoCanvas as a principle of business ethics and protecting our users, making GoCanvas offline accessible has more to do with internet connectivity and making it possible for those to use technology to make their work more efficient, regardless of if they are connected to WiFi, have data, or are in an unconnected area. Internet is still required to send data from your mobile device or tablet to the portal once the work is complete so although GoCanvas can be used offline, online access is still required to fully complete the process of submitting your data so we do monitor security very closely.
