We have dispatch items that require multiple users/resources to be assigned to a single dispatch.
Right now, we would have book the same dispatch 2-3 times. The major issue with this is that all of the users will need to fill out the same app, but since its a separate dispatch, it wouldn't work that way.
If anything, we would like to assign a "dispatch lead" that would be the one to fill out the app, but still schedule the other users on the same dispatch. As soon as the app & PDF is submitted, the "To-Do" would be removed from the users assigned.
This also brings up another factor: Double Booking. We need an option that sends a red flag and/or inhibits double booking a single resource multiple times.
I would think both of these features would be popular among other customers.

Hi Nichole,
Just wanted to let you know that we're working on a couple of possible solutions for you in the meantime! I'll circle back with you on Monday and let you know what we have in mind.
Thanks,
Siobhan
Hi Nichole,
First of all, thank you for sharing your feedback and ideas on how we can help streamline this specific scenario in GoCanvas. I wanted to offer the following workarounds in the meantime, in case they are of use to you. Regardless of whether they are beneficial to you or not, your feedback is appreciated!
Here's one of our ideas:
Potentially, you could dispatch to a lead, let them do whatever they need to do, and then hand it off to the next person that needs to touch it using Workflow. This could work if the flow is linear...
If things need to happen simultaneously:
Create a dispatch App, and create separate fields for the dispatch lead as well as the other users. Whatever other information you want dispatched to those people, run it through Zapier to create separate dispatches for each of those people. Once they go through and fill out the App, you can Zap that data to a Google Sheet, and set one of the tabs up to represent the aggregate of all the different data entered for that job in the form of a PDF, then export the PDF.
Again, not an ideal solution, but felt the need to share it in case it helps! Thanks again for your feedback.
All the best,
Siobhan
