in order to make sure that reference data is updated properly each morning, we have to dedicate someone to manually log into each device and sync them. This would save this person nearly an hour per day to be able to force a sync.

Hi James,
This is a great request, one that we've seen before, so you might want to check out this post and upvote it: https://help.gocanvas.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360000820268-Force-Synchronization-in-Background. One thing you could try is adjusting the Client Timeout Window (found in Account > Account Settings). You can change this so that users have to log in more frequently and sync themselves.
