Looking for best way to get the terms and conditions onto the end of the form I'm building. It's about three pages of text, so probably too long even for long text. Suggestions?

We've used static text fields for lengthy text items, mostly detailed instructions and steps for performing the observation. You can have some basic formatting like paragraph breaks, use * for bullet points, etc. We have most of these setup as reference data in a .csv that can be updated as needed in a central location.
Thanks Matt. I'll try the static text. I wonder if there's a word limit there, too? But if it's working for you then it should probably work for us.
does not work. i have the same problem need to put terms and conditions in my app but the static field has a 2500 word limit.
Hi Nerissa,
Could you split your text up into different static text fields? That might also be a bit easier to read since there will be some additional spacing.
I have this issue, except my text is only a couple of paragraphs. I have tried splitting my text into different static text fields, but the text is cut off on the mobile device. Why would this happen? supposedly 2,500 characters are allowed in a static field and I have less that 100 in most of mine.
I am puzzled :-)
Hi Janet,
I'm going to go ahead and convert your question into a ticket for our Support Team so they can take a look at your specific App. It shouldn't be getting cut off on mobile, especially if there's not that much content in there. Thanks!
Are you entering your text into the static text field in the web editor of the form, or are you using reference data? I just tested with 3,500+ characters and the whole text shows up. This is static text field but pulling from reference data and not entered into the web editor. The text clips when I try to paste it into the static text field of the web editor.
Thank you Matt. I am entering into the web editor - maybe that is the issue, although I wouldn't have thought it should be if the field on web editor indicates it can be 2,500 characters long. I am about to prepare screen shots etc. for the support team, so it will be interesting to see if they come up with that as the issue. Thanks for your input :-)
Hi Matt. I had to get this sorted for a demo, so I tried your way using reference data and it worked. Thank you so much for the pointer :-)
