a test mode would also save users and builder a lot of time. Sometimes form fields are required, however, as a builder I do not want to 100% fill out a form every time I make a change to see how it looks. Maybe there is a button or even a test mode that you could use so I could submit and test things with the hassle?

This is similar to this:

I second this request and add another comment: to publish an app for testing you have to save the app, leave the app builder, click on that app in depth, then click on "publish for testing", then reenter app builder to make additional changes. Why not put a button in the app builder's top corner next to "publish" that says "publish for testing" so you can then conduct your test on your mobile device without having to leave the app builder page?
Being able to test the look/feel/interaction of changes you make as you are building/editing is tedious. A test mode that doesn't require me to test using another device would be great.

It's really annoying to save, close, click back into the app, click publish for testing. For this reason, sometimes it's just easier to click Publish to device in the app builder and watch the version numbers go up and up.
It would be nice to have a Publish for testing within the app builder.
