GoCanvas Lite is perfect for small teams that want to digitize their daily field reports, inspections, and proofs of service.

GoCanvas Lite

If you are new to GoCanvas, the content in this article covers the steps that will allow you to start creating GoCanvas Basic Forms and completing this forms in the field.

Account setup

To get up and running, Admins will need to add all potential GoCanvas users to your Account.

Add users

The following personnel will require a GoCanvas login:

1. Employees building forms in GoCanvas.
2. Employees filling out forms in the field.
3. Employees managing completed submissions in GoCanvas.

Build a form

Digitizing your paper forms is the most essential step in getting started with GoCanvas.

Publish a form

Once you have tested your form and it works as expected, in the upper right corner of the Builder, click Save, then Publish. Every time you edit and republish a form, the previous version will not longer be available to users (i.e. each subsequent republish will increase Form Version).

Assign users to a form

Authorized User Roles can Assign the form to all users who will complete submissions in the GoCanvas application.

Complete a submission

Users will need to download the GoCanvas mobile application to their device to complete submissions (i.e. a completed Task).

Edit & View submissions

After a user completes a submission, authorized User Roles can Edit & View it in the GoCanvas web portal.
