If you are familiar with GoCanvas, the layout will feel familiar with some subtle differences that you'll notice in this tour. For those that are completely new to GoCanvas, this tour will help you familiarize yourself with our interface.

Navigate to the Forms page and expand the Create New drop down in the upper right corner of the screen. Select Basic Form.

At the bottom of this section is a slider to Zoom in or out of the form while building, up to 400% magnification. Clicking the plus or minus will increase or decrease the magnification by 5% per click. Lastly, at the top right of this section are the Undo and Redo buttons.

On the right side of the screen is the Preview panel. This panel has two tabs, Pages and Outline. Pages shows each page from your original PDF and allows you to navigate to a page by clicking it in this panel.

Outline lays out the fields in your form in the order that they were added to the center workspace. If you want the mobile user to complete the fields in a different order than shown in the Outline, simply drag and drop them into the order you would prefer.

A Few Important Things of Note

  • Versioning of the form and the PDF design is combined in Quick Start.
    • Therefore, changing your PDF design requires you to publish a new form version.
  • Quick Start is available in both the GoCanvas Core View and Project Management View.
  • Forms built with Quick Start will work with Analytics and Integrations.
  • New accounts and Free Trials will automatically have Quick Start enabled.
  • Existing accounts should contact their Account Executive to learn more.
