If you've ever needed to create a two-column Table for the purpose of repeating only a single field, Lists might be the perfect replacement.
Lists
Lists are the simplest repeating screen type because it is technically only one field, or column, repeated as many times as is needed for each particular submission. Some common examples of lists are:
- To Do list,
- Checklists,
- Grocery List,
- List of materials or parts needed for a particular procedure.
Adding a List
Create a New List
In the center workspace, below the current last screen of the form, click Add List.
This will automatically add a List screen to the end of your form that can be relocated to another point in the form if needed. List screens look sort of like a Table but will not allow for any additional fields, or columns, to be added. So in essence, Lists are akin to if a Table only had a Key Field.
Make an Existing Screen a List
The option to convert a Screen to a List is only available on a Screen that already has a field that is compatible with being a Key Field. Click the ellipsis icon on a screen with one existing field and select Convert to List.
List Field & Screen Settings
Since List screens are very similar to a single-column Table, the same limitations that apply to the compatible field types for key fields also apply to Lists.
And the Screen Settings are simplified given the simple nature of List screens.
Duplicate, Delete, or Revert a List
Click the ellipsis icon in the upper right corner to expand the menu and select whichever option you need.
Please Note
Lists are not compatible with the PDF Designer at this time.
