  • Hi Andy,

This is a great idea for data integrity and I will definitely pass it along to our product team. In the meantime, I know that this feature limits flexibility but photo fields do have a setting that allows the admin to choose whether the user can add photos from the gallery, the camera, or both. Toggling to only allowing photos added from the camera will force the user to take a new photo and not choose an old one from the gallery. For those stumbling across this post, here is the setting in the form builder. This setting is located in the More drop down menu in photo field settings:

Or, if you are using Builder BETA, it is located in the More menu of the Setting Gear of a photo field:

    or

You could have a way to not allow dupe picture names from the camera or camera roll

Our techs take many pictures of the pipe inspections we do on a property. Since some pipes are the same size, they can take one picture and use over if you allow the camera roll option.

  • Hi Kevin,

We appreciate your continued interest in this feature request and I can definitely see the value in being able to make sure individuals aren't uploading the same photo. At this time there are not any updates on this feature request, but we will be sure to update back here once we have more to share!

In the meantime please continue to upvote this post if you find it valuable.

    Thanks,
