Issue: GoCanvas does not have fields designed to be used on paper, i.e., a PDF that needs to get physically signed by an MD or a notes section for someone to write in comments. I have added the field below in the picture; however, this looks very unprofessional, and maybe there is a better way to use the standard PDF?
Issue: I know PDF designer is an option; however, it's not for us as the submissions do not talk to the designer as it should. For example, conditional screens and fields are still populated on the designer even though the submission has gotten rid of them through user decisions and how the app was built to operate. Our forms are dynamic, but the designer PDF is not.
I need to find a solution to this ASAP to display a better, more professional option to collect a signature, date, name, notes, phone, etc. on the paper submission.

The PDF Designer is actually dynamic. You can show and hide fields, etc.
In the App Builder, if you go to the field(s) in question, you can expand the More menu in the left nav and go to More >> Show This Field on PDF: and then choose the option that you want.
At the screen level, you can choose Show All Fields on PDF and then specify the choice you want. This lets you show or hide an entire screen dynamically.
For a signature block, we normally just use the signature field as it can be set to show on PDF Always even if there is not a signature in it.
Does that help?
