If I fill out a contract with system model and serial numbers, I should be able to copy the data (aside from signatures of course) to paste into a newer version of the app. If a data field is missing from the new version, it could prompt you for action regarding that. Having to type in all the information for contract renewals is a waste of time.

Yes, I do reports annualy for the same data, just the results may change (answer the questions), each report is geared specifically for each building. To copy features is nice but I would like to be able to do that from any user not just the user that did the submission last.
