I like the idea of sending a calendar invite to a user of their scheduled Dispatch. I think the implementation could be tweaked though; the .ics email attachment is 'okay' but requires a user to manually add it to their calendar. If the time changes on the Dispatch Calendar, the event is cancelled and then a new email request is sent (this results in the user having to re-add the event to their calendar).
This might be more useful if GoCanvas sent a meeting/appointment request as when the scheduled event time changed in the Dispatch Calendar it would reflect over on Outlook/Gmail and that user would get an email notification that the event time/date had changed, but not need to re-accept the event.
Alongside this, it would be nice if users were able to ‘subscribe’ to a Dispatch calendar, either by:
- Direct Sync (all events get added to a users Outlook/GCal)
- ICS subscription
- iCal subscription
- URL
This could also allow users who schedule the surveyors/auditors/engineers within the Dispatch Calendar to update their team immediately with calendar events without the need to accept on an event by event basis.
I'm aware that this is all mostly possible using Zapier, however I think a calendar subscription would be much more beneficial to GoCanvas users.

Thank you for taking the time to share this very detailed feedback and use case examples! This is great stuff and I can see how it would be helpful to have these calendar sync/subscription features available directly from GoCanvas (as opposed to through a Zapier integration).
We do not have a timeline on this functionality, but I will be sure to share these comments directly with our Product managers for their consideration.
