Hi guys, here's what I'm trying to do and hope someone can help me out.
Here's the business process:
1) A sales guy does a site visit to a customer.
2) He allocates a form (or more than 1 form) to a customer. Each form has a unique code.
3) Sales guy opens Canvas and has to capture the form code given to that customer.
4) Sales guy moves on to the next customer and repeats the process.
I know that in Canvas, I can use Loops to capture multiple Form Codes to each Customer.
I also use "emails" in Reference Data tagged to UserNames so that each Sales guy only sees his Form Codes and his Customer Names.
The problem comes in when I create a loop. The main loop (in this case, the Form Code), loses the ability to restrict the data based on the Username. Somehow, it has to have 2 fields in that loop so that the Reference Screen and Reference Field become active. Without it, it ignores the Username and lists all.
Is there any solution to this?

Hi Ken,
I think I understand what you're trying to do here, but I want to make sure. Your loop uses the form code as the key field, and then within the loop, you have fields that need to be based on something outside of the loop (in this case, the sales person's email) - is that accurate? I'm going to play with this a little bit, but just wanted to make sure that's what the problem was. Oh, forgot to ask: are the form codes assigned in the reference data, or in the field?
