The current "Preview" feature in PDF Designer is pretty worthless. You have to save the changes in order to preview it. You should be able to preview the changes to see if you actually want to save those changes.

I totally see your point here. One thing you might want to also upvote is this request for an undo button: https://help.gocanvas.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360037095754-Undo-feature-in-Designer-PDF. Not exactly the same, but I think would help the root of this problem. Thanks for the feedback!
