Report listing user id and app id against actual names

Would like to be able to align the user id and the app id without needing to go in to each user / app individually and build a list.

  • This is to give me a work around for the lack of governance controls that exist within the system regarding app owners.

  • The work around I came up with here isn't great, but in theory you can view the page source for the Apps page and your Users page and sort of clean up what comes out of it. It's all in one place (instead of clicking into things), but... does require manual cleanup. Just throwing it out there.

  • Have you actually tried doing that?

Apps sit within folders within departments.  Each still has to be gone in to separately.

Even for users we dont get a view with them on a single page - will have to go in to 20+ pages and do that.

We now need a work around, to make the workaround work to get information we need for a workaround for what on every platform I have ever worked with is basic functionality.

  • Hi Dave,

I saw you put in a Support ticket about this, which is what I was about to recommend. I do think you can get to the App ID from the API, but I think Support will be able to help you more directly with both of those tasks. Thanks!

  • Another few months has passed.   Any update on how we get this on an ongoing basis.

  • Hey Dave,

No update here. If there are updates on this - or any other existing feature request - I'll update the original post with the news. As I've said, there are a lot of factors that go into whether we invest in a feature or functionality. We have multiple platforms to support and limited resources, so it's a balance. I can assure you that these items get reviewed on a regular basis (we're actually coming up on our roadmap planning in a few weeks). The reality is we don't have the capacity to address every single specific feature request, so we have to be strategic with what we do build out.
