We use an excel spreadsheet to manage the status of all our jobs loaded into GoCanvas.
We work off a master list which we then run some formulas to pull a status from an extract that we run every day and load in another worksheet. The critical thing for us is being able to look at our master list and identify which jobs we've sent out to the field, which are completed, in progress etc.
We've been able to automate using Zapier and Google Sheets updating once each job is completed however we can't automate the status prior to that eg. assigned, received. If we could implement this it'd eliminate the need to download an extract and update the sheet manually. This is also getting problematic due to the limit on the number of rows that can be extracted and the complexity of our setup.
