We have some dispatchers that frequently send large numbers of dispatches all at once using Business Insights for Excel.
This is very nice, but they like to keep previously dispatched rows present in the files (for a number of reasons) and then just add rows to the bottom of the file for new dispatches that need to happen.
This works, but the more rows that are present, the slower the dispatch process goes each time.
It would seem that Business Insights is iterating through each row, 1 at a time, left to right, top to bottom. It might be awesome if it just looked for the first row with a blank "Dispatch Status Column" and then started iterating through trying to pick up the data to be sent in the dispatch(es).
This would allow the file(s) to have previous rows without significantly impacting the performance of the dispatch upload tool. (At least theoretically).

Hey Nate,
This request makes total sense to me and I can see why that would be slowing things down. Do the dispatchers encountering this issue need to keep all of the previous rows in the same sheet, or could you set up a macro to move the dispatched ones to another sheet, sort of like an archive? I'm just trying to think about ways around the BI limitation.
